Massive thanks to the recent grant received from the Football Foundation, meaning that we are finally able to begin works making the clubhouse extension waterproof. Thank you to Michael Amann and his team for starting the work.

Delighted to announce the confirmation of a second grant from the Football Foundation in several weeks, the first was to progress our clubhouse extension, the latest being a Pitch Improvement Grant - financial assistance for pitch remediation and maintenance over a 6 year period. Great news

MORE GREAT NEWS - WE HAVE OUR GRANT HAT TRICK!

This grant has been awarded for the resurfacing of the Multi Use Games Area with a 3G carpet, so now most of our 30+ teams will be able to train on site

ABOUT US

The North East's first FA Community Charter Standard Club

Established in February 1995, Blyth Town started out as a junior football club with only 3 football teams. Since then our numbers have increased and we now have a mini, junior boys and girls section as well as a Sunday team and a First team.

Our girls/ladies section has been such a huge success and is growing yearly thanks to the dedicated coaches we have. A large number of the girls have successfully moved into the professional game, some of whom have represented their country at international level.

In December 2002 we became the first ‘Community Club’ in the North East, which led, in 2007, to the Club receiving grant aid from The Football Foundation to build our own fantastic facilities in Blyth.

Every Saturday morning we host football coaching sessions in partnership with Newcastle United FC Foundation. These sessions are designed and delivered by NUFC Foundation coaches alongside our very own volunteer coaches. The popularity of these sessions has led a number of players into our mini soccer section for them to start their footballing journey.

If you'd like any further information about joining any of our teams or popping along on a Saturday morning to take part in the NUFC Foundation please feel free to get in touch, we'd be happy to help.

The future is looking bright!

Every Saturday we host the Newcastle United Foundation coaches along to hold structured training sessions for kids (boys and girls) of all abilities aged between 6 - 10. Whether your child is just starting out on their footballing journey or a little bit further down the path they'd be welcome to come along and take part.
